Nothing like forgetting your dad's birthday to earn you an angry earful from your mom. And here I thought I was too old to get into trouble. I think she might actually have grounded me somewhere between the 'you should feel terrible' and 'I gave you a whole week to realise'. And you teenagers think you have it bad.

So I guess I'm cooking Christmas dinner this year. Anyone want to earn some brownie points and offer to help? You don't have to be good at cooking but you do have to wear a Kiss The Cook apron. Those are the rules I'm afraid.

There's nothing quite like leaving a nice hotel and coming back to reality. Still, it was fun while it lasted. I hope everyone enjoyed the brunch yesterday. Thanks again for coming.

I've been thinking about running some cooking lessons over the summer, if anyone would be interested. Students and adults alike. Just something fun and relaxed, you wouldn't get tested or anything. My own little attempt at staving off summer boredom.

Hello all! I'm Liam Caldwell, your new Life Skills teacher. I've been living in New York for a couple of months but I'm orginally from Florida. Miami if we're getting specific. Please don't take that as your cue to sing Will Smith at me, although I guess his musical genius might be a bit before your time. I'm showing my age now.
Hopefully I'll see those of you with an interest in cooking and crafts in my classes. Even better if you don't know where to start with either of those things because by the end of the year, I promise you'll be able to feed and clothe yourself. If anyone has any questions about the course or myself, I'm happy to answer them. If not, I'll finish getting unpacked and see some of you Monday morning.
